​Positive Healthcare have a great opportunity for a Locum CAMHS Practitioner in Bedfordshire.

We are looking for an experienced CAMHS Practitioner with one of the core CAMHS qualifications such as CBT practitioner, Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, Family therapy, MH Nurse, Social Worker or Creative Art Therapists to join our well established team.We are a team that prides itself on creative, innovative and evidenced based approaches to our work with service users and carers and value a supportive and reflective culture in the work environment.

The team is part of a CAMHS service which is a large, dynamic and successful CAMHs service comprising of 2 emotional and behavioural teams, a LAC team, a CAMHs schools team, a parent-infant psychotherapy team, a paediatric team, a GP team, an adolescent mental health team, a crisis team and an eating disorders service and Neurodevelopment Team. The Team also have embedded workers in Early Help, CDC and social care.The successful candidate would need to work on site for at least 2 days a week (more preferred).

Job Requirements

·         Qualification in at least one of the following:

o   CBT Practitioner

o   Clinical/Counselling Psychologist

o   Family Therapist

o   MH Nurse

o   Social Worker

o   Creative Arts Therapist

Hours of Work / Contract Duration:

·         Monday to Friday

·         At least 2 days on site (more preferred)

·         3 month contract

Rate of Pay:

·         Band 7
