Positive Healthcare have a great opportunity for a Senior Therapist within the Primary Care Mental Health Support Service in South Wales.

The post holder will work with people who have a range of mild to moderate mental health problems or severe but stable mental health problems.

·         providing a comprehensive assessment of psychological and social needs.

·         developing individual psychotherapeutic formulations, integrating a range of therapeutic models one of which must be CBT.

·         providing autonomous evidence-based psychological interventions in individual and group formats.

·         providing CBT model specific clinical supervision to colleagues in PCMHSS.

·         auditing the outcome of specialist treatments and provide reports to the senior management team.

Hours of Work / Contract Duration:

·         Hours are negotiable:

o   part time and full time hours

o   remote working offered on weekends and out of hours weekdays

·         Contract will be ongoing into 2024

Rate of Pay:

·         Band 7

Job Requirements:

·         Master’s Level qualification, or the equivalent level of highly developed specialist skills, knowledge and experience

·         Knowledge and experience of risk assessment and management.

·         Training in CBT and 1 other psychotherapeutic model.

·         Registered with a recognised professional body e.g. HCPC.

·         Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required
