​Responsible for assessment of service user needs in relation particularly to optimising independence and physical function, and symptom control

•       Responsible to devise a formal plan for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions as part of overall care

•       To promote choice in all aspects of clinical practice reviewing and making suggestions to enhance the service user experience and enabling concerns and complaints to be raised freely by service user and their representatives

•       To liaise and communicate with other health and social care professionals and volunteers in the planning and delivery of physiotherapy

•       To ensure appropriate prescription, provision and maintenance of equipment within available resources

•       To ensure that up to date written and electronic records are maintained in accordance with the required standards, and that sensitive information is held securely

•       To demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision. To share knowledge and expertise with other staff through formal and informal teaching

•       Facilitating the safe and smooth running of the Service, the post holder is expected to maintain a safe working environment, maintain service user confidentiality, and occasionally taking on reasonable additional tasks

 2 days (16 hours per week)

Salary: £35 + per hour. Uplifted hourly rate for the right candidate.
