Main duties of the job

To effectively plan and implement a high-quality Occupational Therapy Service with service users on the acute mental health wards and Psychiatric intensive care units at Priory Hospital Arnold.  The post holder will work autonomously to ensure service users are assessed in relation to their occupational functioning and will work with individuals to identify their plans, to maximise independence in relation to daily living and social inclusion.  The post holder will be responsible for the day to day safe and effective running and the provision of Occupational Therapy on the wards.
